How I would use this book with young children: Great book to use as part of a discussion about American inventors.

How this book relates to young children: Children will relate to the story of friendship gained and lost.

How I would use this book with young children: Can read a create a Venn diagram comparing this book to Town Mouse, Country Mouse.





How to Heal a Broken Wing

How this book relates to young children: Children will care deeply for the bird and anxiously wait to see how he fares.

How I would use this book with young children: Can be used to teach the theme of responsibility.
